The Satoshi Sisters

A state’s economy lies in the working population, who are privileged based on the strength and time to take risks, which impact a country’s economic growth; this implies both the male and female gender are contributors to economic growth.

Before the advent of modern women’s rights, female earning potential was suppressed from contributing to the economic ecosystem because women were deemed too fragile for both physical and mental labor, of course, due to the opinion of men. Another generational wave started where ladies were better-assigned duties of nurturing, communication, managing resources, and working to make an income. Yet, some couldn’t live to their designed potential and historically earned less than their male counterparts.

Many mothers suffered from financial downturns and were accustomed to their male counterparts being solely providers. Some women got labeled as weak due to them awaiting men for survival. Nevertheless, this situation still happens in many underdeveloped countries where young women can’t have discussions about finance or gain financial freedom.

According to Binance 2021, a popular application used for trading bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, only 5% of its users are female worldwide, based on the data used for the analysis in October 2020. Other surveys identify the gender gap in the bitcoin space, and it is no secret that the number of men in the bitcoin space is twice that of women.

However, some women have come together to educate fellow women about the future of financial technology to ensure that women are great contributors to the incoming economic movement. They are freeing many women from financial power and control from any human, not only men, and leading to the existence of the satoshi sisters. The satoshi sisters are a  gathering for females interested in bitcoin to support one another in business and grow their financial capability.

Due to women’s femininity, many are not courageous enough to talk about their financial ignorance. It takes a lot to make a woman vulnerable about matters like finance; with the satoshi sisters’ space, young women and older women can come together, have a chit-chat about finance and get exposure to what action to take on securing their finances. Steps like investing or trading in bitcoin, becoming a developer in the bitcoin space, and writing about bitcoin, will be best known to them.

These Sisters do not only secure their finances, but they also secure financial power for the next generation. They are supporting the decentralization of bitcoin and giving control to people to rule. To women making waves in the bitcoin industry, your effort brings value, and communities replicating the satoshi sister culture, your impact knows no boundary.

Early adoption of movements like bitcoin can make you a fortune. Are you a young woman, a teenage girl being controlled by the traditional finance system, making a quick jump into the green space of bitcoin, and gaining control of your finance? Bitcoin is for your freedom and empowerment; It is an asset to own.
