BITCOIN AND THE METAMORPHOSIS
The name “Metamorphosis” alludes to a transformation akin to a butterfly emerging out of a cocoon. The caterpillar becomes a butterfly and this is my thesis on how to approach Bitcoin. Let’s get into it.

As a fundamentalist, I have always been trying to look back at nature to try and base everything I find on first principles. When I came across Bitcoin, I applied the same principles AND they dovetailed perfectly. The metamorphosis fascinated me because it is a natural process in which a caterpillar exists and does everything it existed to do. I likened this to human existence, in which we do everything that our parents, our society, and everyone around us expects us to do. Most of the time we become successful in this endeavor but it leaves us completely unfulfilled. Why?
This is simply because we have not tapped into who we really are. The longing is simply the butterfly in all of us calling. But the butterfly does not just happen. The butterfly in us has natural processes that need to be followed.
This is where it gets interesting for me. The butterfly in all of us needs us to go into the cocoon. The butterfly in us can only manifest itself after we cross the chasm of what we have acquired as knowledge. This place is very uncomfortable but it is necessary for us if we are going to manifest our true potential.
We have to die from everything we have known ourselves to be. We have to crack open our knowledge cocoon and emerge as completely new beings, venturing into the unknown. This is what I think is missing in all of us. We have to be comfortable acknowledging that what we thought we knew was wrong. We have to tap into this dimension of the unknown and that is where the magic happens and I would like to call this a place “where Genius is manifested.”
WHY IS THIS TRANSITION PARAMOUNT?
It is scientifically proven that domesticated animals have smaller brains than wild animals. This is simply because when we neglect our wild selves, our natural beings, we become domesticated beings by what we know and we fail to project who we should be. Human beings are more than capable to do more incredible things if we can cross that line where what we all
know becomes absolute. This is the metamorphosis, where we should unlearn, die and be prepared to tap into the unknown. This is what unleashes the “Genius” within us. This is untapped territory, a fierce arena where we all
can just sit back and allow the natural process to take place. In human behavioral sciences, they call this accessing “the hidden order.” It is a place where we become real human beings. This is where we go beyond all the noise, the emotions, and everything around us to access our executive center, the place of “Human Genius.”
IS BITCOIN A COCOON? WHERE DOES IT LEAD TO?
Bitcoin is a cocoon where the metamorphosis happens. When an individual goes through the bitcoin rabbit hole, they come out at the other end as transformative beings
Just like the caterpillar, when an individual goes through the Bitcoin cocoon, they come out a butterfly, completely different from their state before they studied it. This is so paradoxical and beautiful to watch.
The metamorphosis is a great concept because it is a natural process and like Fuller said, “There is nothing to predict from the caterpillar becoming the butterfly.” I am led to believe that the same happens when we start looking at Bitcoin because it’s embedded in us to know the truth when we see it. We have all been caterpillars in our own right. Some of us have been so successful in the caterpillar nature that we might not need to be butterflies. But it has become inevitable to go into the cacoon because its “deep calleth unto the deep.”
Is it not paradoxical to discover that we become completely new beings once we go through the cocoon? Even what we eat changes, our association changes and we don’t even resemble our original state of being.
The metamorphosis sounds to me like it is exactly how we become Bitcoin maximalists. Our nature has changed and we no longer believe in the fiat system. Our associations change; we join the bitcoin community and our state of being is no longer the same. We can see, with clarity, the world as it is and wish to help everybody access this realm where magic and truth happen.
Bitcoin is a shiny city in cyberspace and only butterflies can fly there and take refuge from the corrupt and violent monetary world that fiat money created.
